The /reports/ page is a server-rendered research library for visitors, search engines, and answer systems working with MikeKappel.com.
Purpose
The report archive is a retrieval layer for background reports, prompts, audits, and exploratory research. It is intentionally not the same layer as /docs/ long-term memory.
Search capabilities
- Ordinary links from the archive to 14 topic categories and their canonical report pages.
- Server-rendered report detail pages with safe, formatted Markdown and stable hierarchical URLs.
- POST-based search that keeps search results out of the canonical URL and applies a noindex boundary.
- Machine-readable search data and REST discovery for retrieval; raw JSON and Markdown resources remain noindex.
Boundary
Reports are raw research references. They may be useful for discovery, but they can contain obsolete, speculative, generated, conflicting, or quarantined material.
Do not move a report-derived claim into resume copy, page copy, project metadata, /docs/, or other asserted evidence until review approves it. Ordinary non-sensitive report pages may be indexed for research discovery without becoming approved portfolio claims. User-confirmed sensitive reports remain search-only and noindex.
Agent use
Agents may use the archive to:
- search for prior research,
- cite canonical hierarchical report URLs,
- summarize report candidates for human review,
- propose promotion into
/docs/with implementation context.
Agents must not treat research archive items as approved truth.
